Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae 2.0 Announced for May by Hajime Tabata (Update)
Update: According to a post on the Japanese Final Fantasy Twitter page, Episode Duscae 2.0 is being released in early June.
Original Story: Did you play Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae? Like many of the other fans, you might have also come across a number of issues that you would want Square Enix to fix in the game. There also might have been other features that you wished the demo let you try out.
Many fans of the game who had similar impressions gave their feedback to Square Enix and Hajime Tabata; apparently, that feedback was listened to, and now you are going to get a version 2.0 of the demo!
This was revealed at their latest Active Time Report where Hajime Tabata sat down and revealed the major issues that were reported by the fans like the camera being too close, the lock-on being “useless,” camera control being heavy, dumb AI, frame rate drops and jaggies, the lack of a mini map or a compass, issues with stamina and MP, battles being monotonous, and bugs and bugs and bugs.
However, Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae 2.0 will come with tons of changes based on this feedback. The headlines are that the new update to the demo will bring in improvements to the camera and targeting, additional joint attacks and additional combat actions, and changes to the usage of MP.
Oh and dodge rolls are also being added. Last but not the least they are working on improving rendering so that they can fix the frame rate issues but that is something they are not sure we will be able to see in Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae 2.0
The update releases sometime in May. Head here to read up the full response Hajime Tabata gave to the fans.
