Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer Reveals Dual Play Mode, Allows Switching Between Characters
The new “All Who Follow You” trailer has been released for Batman: Arkham Knight and showcases Nightwing, Robin, and Catwoman fighting alongside the Dark Knight.
The cooperative gameplay does not only have the characters dishing their own punches, but also have them tag-teaming for special attacks.
According to Warner Bros., Batman: Arkham Knight, this gameplay will be featured in a new mode called Dual Play, which allows players to “seamlessly switch between The Dark Knight and his allies including Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman in freeflow combat.”
The concept is not new and has been done recently by Rockstar Games for GTA V, where players were able to switch between the game’s three main characters at any time.
Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be the first game in the series to be given an M rating in North America by the ESRB. The game will feature a more darker done, compared to its predecessors, and according to its developer was a necessity to tell the game’s story.
Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled to release on June 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The publisher has made it clear that it won’t see to any more delays.
