The Elder Scrolls Online: One Tamriel

The Elder Scrolls Online console beta is starting today (if it hasn’t already) as announced by the developers in a post on their official website.

It’s a limited closed beta in which only invited players can participate. Invites were sent to players who signed-up, but keep in mind that not everyone who signed up were given access to Elder Scrolls Online Beta.

So when exactly is the beta starting? According to the post, the beta will start on “Thursday, April 23rd, at 15:00 BST and ends on Monday, April 27th, at 15:00 BST.”

Another very important question is if your characters from the beta will carry over to the final build on Xbox One and PS4. The answer to that question is no!

Developers will be wiping the slate clean so players won’t be able to transfer their characters to the final build of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.

We will be wiping all characters from the ESOTU console beta before the official worldwide launch on June 9th. If you are eligible for the PC/Mac to PS4 and Xbox One transfer, your characters will be waiting for you on the PS4 and Xbox One megaservers at launch. Otherwise, you will be creating new characters on launch day.
