Patrice Desilets, the original creative director for Assassin’s Creed, is said to be currently working on his own game and we may soon know about it.

Desilets is listed to be giving a keynote speech tomorrow as part of the Reboot Develop event in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Taking into account an earlier Twitter exchange, the developer is speculated to be planning to officially announce his game during the presentation tomorrow.

When teased by a user asking “will it involve the words ‘and my next project will be …,'” Desilets replied with a yes.

Desilets currently works at Panache Digital, but rewinding back to the humble beginnings of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, his work with the first game was crucial to the launch of the historical action series.

We’ll see if Desilets is putting his experience to use in a similar historical game or something else entirely.
