Ultra Street Fighter IV Coming to PS4 on May 26
After a long wait, we finally have a release date for Ultra Street Fighter IV on a next-gen machine. The creator of this epic fighting franchise, Capcom, announced in a post on PlayStation Blog that the game is heading to PlayStation 4 next month.
There isn’t any release date yet for an Xbox One version. However, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono hinted at an Xbox One release in the past. Also, at the time he said there are no plans for a Wii U version at all.
Anyways, the announcement post on PlayStation Blog also revealed that the PS4 version will come with all of the previously released DLC.
Moreover, the PlayStation 3 version of the game had some minor input lag but developers have fixed the issue for the game’s release on PS4. They are referring to it as the “ultimate version on any platform.”
All the characters, all the levels, and all of the DLC that have been launched so far will be included in the PS4 version of the game. Also, a few of you hardcore Street Fighters out there said that there was minor input lag in the controls of Ultra Street Fighter IV for PS3. Well, don’t worry: we’ve eliminated it to make the PS4 edition the ultimate version on any platform, so it’ll be good to go for all your tournament needs!
The PlayStation 4 version of Ultra Street Fighter IV is coming out on May 26 on PSN. The title is priced at $24.99 and there is no physical release planned for the time being.
Considering the amount of content we are getting, $24.99 is more than reasonable if you ask me.
