Here’s a Temporary Fix for Mortal Kombat X PS4 Error CE-34878-0
PlayStation 4 users who own a digital copy of Mortal Kombat X are having some problems with the game. Some users report that they are presented with an error CE- 34878-0, while they are signed into the PlayStation Network.
So far developers haven’t released a patch to fix the problem, but we can hope to see a solution soon. However, what can you do for the time being? Warner Bros. has offered a temporary solution for the problem.
- Sign out of PSN by going to Home Menu > Settings > Playstation Network/Account Management > Sign Out
- Launch Mortal Kombat X
- After reaching the main menu of Mortal Kombat X, sign back into PSN by going to Home Menu > Settings > Playstation Network/Account Management > Sign In
According to WB, this workaround will let you play the game while developers find a permanent solution.
That was for Mortal Kombat X on PS4, on a related note, lets talk a bit about the PC version.
Thanks to the PC community, Rain is now a playable character in Mortal Kombat X. A Reddit user XVermillion, is behind a mod that allowed this to happen.
He wrote in a post:
I backed up the files for Shinnok (the character I’m replacing) and renamed Rain’s files to match those associated with Shinnok’s first costume slot (CHAR_Shinnok_A.xxx and one other, the one that matches Rain’s other one) and moved ’em to the folder and overwrote Shinnok’s old files with the newly renamed Rain files.
You can follow the instructions here, to play as Rain.
