Hearthstone: Blackrock Mountain – Blackrock Spire is Now Open
Had fun with the first two wings of Blackrock Mountain? There’s plenty more where that came from! Blizzard has now released the third wing – Blackrock Spire – for Blackrock Mountain adventure.
With the third wing, you will head for the heights of the Blackrock Mountain and enter Nefarian’s Domain. Those who survived the past two wings, Blackrock Depths and Molten Core, will be able to better utilize their experience in this one:
Blackrock Spire honeycombs the heights of Blackrock Mountain, and serves as the first line of defense against those who would dare intrude on Blackwing’s domain. Nefarian’s forces now occupy the former Dark Iron dwarf citadel, where you’ll find the likes of ogres, orcs, and dragonspawn patrolling its halls.
Nefarian’s armies are led by General Drakkisath and one of his duties is to “inflict corporal punishment on the minions of Ragnaros.” Drakkisath won’t be easy to take down, but if you cause enough bodily damage to the general, you will be rewarded with two Dragon Consort Paladin class cards.
Another character you should know about is Rend Blackhand, the leader of Dark Horde. He is an ally of the Nefarian, because he wants to take down Thrall and take over. His management style is of a typical villain, laid back, crazy and bossing around minions.
He is very unpredictable so you have to be very careful. Read more about Blackrock Spire over at the official website.
There are a total of five wings for Blackrock Mountain. Three have been released, while the remaining two will come out a week apart.
