An example of that is a small but worthy GTA V PC Mod which now lets you afjust the first person field of view according to your needs. FoV has always been something that people wish to have control over, and in Grand Theft Auto V, this mod boasts of giving that liberty to you.

According to the modder who posted on Reddit this mod is “tested and working on the worldwide Steam and retail/Rockstar Warehouse version as of April 15, 2015.” Of course “there’s no guarantee a future patch won’t break it, but this mod will be updated for compatibility if necessary,” says the modder.

Apparently, there were some Steam related issues with the mod at first but they have also been taken care of with a new update.

All that is left to be clarified now is the way GTA V PC is going to treat things like this mod which look like a cheat. Here’s what the modder is saying about that:

We do not yet know the game’s anti-cheating measures – use at your own risk. This mod modifies game memory and as such looks like a cheat, and may even be considered one in online multiplayer as having a higher field of view can put players at a competitive advantage.
