BioWare: Characters in Mass Effect 4 are “Insanely Detailed”

As we’ve come to see this year; when Chris Wynn is not working as the Senior Development Director of Mass Effect 4, he’s busy teasing the fan-base on Twitter about how pretty the game is looking.

BioWare has already promised to use every advantage it can get from the new-gen platforms to make the new Mass Effect game a revolutionary advancement in terms of visual capabilities. Recently Wynn posted online about how “insane” the characters were looking in-game.

“Busy showing and telling the latest Mass Effect progress to the team. The amount of detail on the characters is insane,” he wrote.

The feeling of laying eyes on highly detailed characters in a third-person sci-fi game can be intoxicating to say the least. While I felt that the recent Dragon Age: Inquisition lacked in the facial department, it nonetheless featured well detailed characters as well. I’m curious to see how large a jump BioWare is making from that to the new Mass Effect.

The developer has been on a rampage this year, constantly teasing about achieving milestones in the development phase, about how good the game is looking and how well it feels when being played. From the sudden attention, it’s speculated that Mass Effect 4 will be making an appearance at E3 2015. If true, we can be hopeful in seeing in-game footage for the first time.

Mass Effect 4 is in development for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A release date has not been mentioned so far.
