PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist has been chosen by fans to be the name of an upcoming 2D platformer which will feature Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known as the popular Swedish YouTube celebrity, PewDiePie.
The YouTube star is working on the game with Quebec-based studio Outerminds and is letting his fans cast vote to decide various elements.
PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist simply tasks players to fight against an assortment of enemies, which includes the Illuminati. It has been confirmed that other YouTube celebrities, such as CinnamonToastKen, JackSepticEye and Markiplier, will make cameo appearances in the adventure as well.
PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist is in development for the iOS and Android, and will be released this summer. A price has not been mentioned as of yet and it’s unknown whether PewDiePie plans on making the game free-to-play or not. The latter though seems highly likely since players will be able to purchase extra moves with in-game currency. As an example, spending 500 coins will unlock the titular Brofist which clears the screen of all enemies, while 50 coins will get you a Time Warp to slow everything down.
