Xenoblade Chronicles X: Here’s What You Need to Know About Online Mode
Xenoblade Chronicles X is one of the most anticipated games for the year on Wii U. Especially now when The Legend of Zelda has been delayed to 2016.
The online mode on Xenoblade Chronicles X will play-out similar to a microcosmic MMO. You will be connected to the online world at all times. The game will pair you up with players nearby who are exploring the same area as you and are of the same level.
Within the game, you can co-op and share items with other players you meet. Xenoblade Chronicles X online will also feature some squad based missions, that you and other players will have to complete together. Squad Quests are also available which are for six players max. So I think it’s safe to say there is plenty of co-op action in the game.
Doing enough quests will eventually pin you against “World Enemies,” that are powerful giant monsters. They will be tough to beat but they will drop plenty of loot that makes them worth the trouble.
The game also includes mechs including Light, Middle and Heavy. Light mech will give you low HP but the evasion rate is high, middle are well balanced, while Heavy are tough and require technique. So choose based in the level of your skill.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is a Wii U exclusive and is expected sometime later this year.
