Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is set years before the events of Woldfenstein: The New Order, and presently it’s not known as to how or where the zombies will show up. Wolfenstein games like to touch upon mystical elements where Nazi armies are on the search of ancient magical artifacts to give them power. The Zombie outbreak will probably be the result of one such artifact firing back.

Set in the 1946, players will fill the shoes of B.J. Blazkowicz and tasked to play through two different parts of the story deep within Bavaria.

The first one is called Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves, and is related to finding the coordinates to the location of the compound of General Deathshead. It takes place at the Wolfenstein Castle and pits players against a “maniacal prison warden.”

The second one is called The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs. Players will arrive at the city of Wulfburg where they must face off against an obsessed Nazi archaeologist.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is slated for a release on May 5 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
