The Priest Class in Pillars of Eternity is primary concerned with provided Support, Control, and Striking. They are extremely capable fighters in a party and their main power comes from prayers which are basically spells which they use in battle.

Beginning Stats

  • Endurance – 36 + 12/Level
  • Health – 3 x Endurance
  • Accuracy – 20 + 3/Level
  • Deflection – 15
  • Skill Bonus – Lore +2 and Athletics +1

Starting Ability – Holy Radiance
This ability allows Priest to generate Endurance for allies.

Special Abilities

Holy Radiance
Required Level: Level 1 – 1 per encounter

With this ability, Priest acquires 15 Burn Damage over 3 seconds.

Talents

Aggrandizing Radiance
With this talent, Priest acquires +2 Might, +2 Constitution, +2 Dexterity, +2 Perception, +2 Intellect, +2 Resolve, and +2 Move Speed for 10 seconds.

Brilliant Radiance
With this talent, Priests’ allies acquire +10 Endurance and deal increased Burn Damage.

Empowered Interdiction
With this talent, Priest acquires +20 Accuracy and leaves enemies Dazed for 7 seconds vs. Will.

Hope Eternal
With this talent, Priests’ allies acquire -10 Defense against Frightened attacks, -10 Defense against Terrified attacks, and +15 Endurance.

Incomprehensible Revelation
With this talent, Priest leaves enemies Dazed for 6 seconds vs. Reflex and decreases Will by -10.

Inspired Flame
With this talent, Priest acquires a special version of Burst of Summer Flame which deals 20-30 Burn Damage vs. Reflex.

Inspiring Radiance
With this talent, allies acquire an increase in Accuracy from the Holy Radiance.

Interdiction
Using this talent, Priests leave their enemies within the area-of-effect Dazed for 7 seconds vs. Will.

Painful Interdiction
This talent allows Priests to add Weakening Affliction to their attacks and leave enemies Dazed for 7 seconds vs. Will.

The Pallid Hand
This allows Priest to acquire an increase in Accuracy with Mace and Great Sword and cast a specialized version of Concelhaut’s Corrosive Siphon.

Prey on the Weak
This allows Priest to acquire an increase in Accuracy with Stiletto and Club and gain x1.2 All Damage.

Untroubled Faith
This allows Priest to deal 15 Burn Damage for 3 seconds and leave enemies Frightened for 30 seconds.

Level #1

Restore Minor Endurance
This spell allows Priest to grant +10 Endurance to all allies within the area-of-effect.

Prayer Against Fear
This spell allows Priest to acquire +50 Defense against Frightened and Terrified attacks for 30 seconds.

Holy Meditation
This spell allows Priest to acquire +30 Concentration and +15 Will for 30 seconds.

Armor of Faith
This spell allows Priest to acquire +4 Damage Reduction for 30 seconds.

Blessing
This spell allows Priest to acquire +5 Accuracy and x1.1 Damage for 20 seconds.

Barbs of Condemnation
This spell allows Priest to decrease enemies’ Deflection, Fortitude, and Reflex.

Withdraw
This spell allows Priest to encapsulate a single target inside a shield and grants them +66.7 Endurance and Invisibility for 20 seconds.

Divine Terror
This spell allows Priest to leave enemies Frightened for 15 seconds vs. Will and lets them acquire +15 Accuracy.

Halt
This spell allows Priest to leave enemies Stuck for 10 seconds vs. Will and lets them acquire +10 Accuracy.

Level #2

Instill Doubt
This spell allows Priest to leave enemies Dazed for 20 seconds vs. Will.

Prayer Against Infirmity
This spell allows Priest to acquire +50 Defense against Sickened and Weakened attacks for 30 seconds.

Repulsing Seal
This spell allows Priest to leave enemies Prone for 10 seconds vs. Fortitude.

Suppress Affliction
This spell allows Priest to suspend all Hostile Effect for 15 seconds for allies.

Restore Light Endurance
This spell allows Priest to grant +15 Endurance to all allies within the area-of-effect.

Holy Power
This spell allows Priest to grant Might and Resolve to all nearby allies.

Consecrated Ground
This spell allows Priest to let allies regenerate Endurance within 2.5m radius.

Iconic Projection
This spell allows Priest to deal Freeze Damage to enemies and lets allies regenerate Endurance to allies.

Divine Mark
This spell allows Priest to deal Burn Damage to enemies and lower their Deflection vs. Will.

Level #3

Pillar of Faith
This allows Priest to leave enemies Prone for 10 seconds vs. Fortitude and deals Crush Damage to enemies.

Restore Moderate Endurance
This allows Priest to grant allies with +22 Endurance within the area-of-effect.

Despondent Blows
This allows Priest to convert 15% of normal hits into 15% Critical Hits for 30 seconds at the cost of -15 Melee Accuracy.

Watchful Presence
This allows Priest to acquire grant +50 Endurance after every second when their Endurance is below 20%.

Dire Blessing
This allows Priest to convert 20% of all regular hits into Critical Hits for 30 seconds.

Prayer Against Restraint
This allows Priest to acquire +50 Defense against Hobbled and Stuck attacks for 30 seconds.

Circle of Protection
This allows Priest to grant allies +15 All Defense for 10 seconds.

Warding Seal
This allows Priest to inflict Shock Damage to enemies.

Level #4

Searing Seal
This allows Priest to inflict 30-50 Burn vs. Reflex and leaves them Blinded for 15 seconds vs. Will.

Devotions for the Faithful
This allows Priest to reduce enemies’ stats by -10 Might, -20 Melee Accuracy, and -20 Ranged Accuracy for 30 seconds vs. Will.

Prayer Against Bewilderment
This allows Priest to let allies gain +50 Defense against Dazed and Confused attacks.

Barring Death’s Door
This allows Priest to prevent death of allies for 20 seconds.

Shining Beacon
This allows Priest to let his or her allies deal 60 Burn Damage over 9 seconds for 9 seconds at the cost of reduced Defense.

Triumph of the Crusaders
This allows Priest to grant allies with +200 Endurance per kill for 60 seconds.

Restore Major Endurance
This allows Priest to grant allies with +33 Endurance within 5m radius.

Level #5

Prayer Against Imprisonment
This allows Priest to grant allies with +50 Defense against Paralyzed and Petrified attacks for 30 seconds.

Champion’s Boon
This allows Priest to grant allies with +10 Might, +10 Perception, and +5 Damage Reduction for 30 seconds.

Salvation of Time
This allows Priest to grant +10 Duration of all active Beneficial Effects in the area-of-effect.

Shields for the Faithful
This allows Priest to grant allies with +25 Deflection for 30 seconds.

Revive the Fallen
This allows Priest to revive their allies with +50 Endurance.

Pillar of Holy Fire
This allows Priest to inflict Burn Damage vs. Reflex and also grants them +15 Accuracy.

Restore Critical Endurance
This allows Priest to grant +50 Endurance to all nearby allies in the area.

Level #6

Prayer Against Treachery
This allows Priest to acquire +50 Defense against Charmed and Dominated attacks for 30 seconds. This effect also extends to all nearby allies.

Crowns for the Faithful
This allows Priest to acquire +6 Perception, +6 Intellect and +25 Resolve for 30 seconds.

Spark the Souls of the Righteous
This allows Priest to grant allies with Shock Aura for 30 seconds which lets them deal Shock Damage to all nearby enemies.

Minor Intercession
This allows Priest to grant +25 Endurance to all nearby allies and reduces the duration of Hostile Effects.
