It shouldn’t be a surprise for you if I say early copies of Mortal Kombat X are leaked. Same is the case with almost every other game that comes out these days.

Anyway, some users who got their hands on the game early are reporting a day one update. Version 1.01 for the PlayStation 4 iteration of Mortal Kombat X fixes some bugs and issues. The patch in question is around 2GB in size and will most probably be available on Xbox One as well.

Although Netherrealm is yet to reveal official patch notes, thanks to the leak we got our hands on them early. Here’s what you can expect on day one:

  • Improved online stability
  • Multiplayer invite improvements
  • Gameplay fixes and balancing
  • Localized language fixes
  • Bug fixes

The reddit user who originally shared this news also said that after the update Tower Boss became more difficult. Not only that but payouts during story mode were reduced.

Mortal Kombat X is expected on April 14 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Developers are introducing several new characters including the gunslinger Erron Black.

There are a total of 29 playable fighters in Mortal Kombat X including four DLC characters. If players spend a little extra, they can get their hands on Jason, Predator, Tanya and Tremor.
