Free Weekend Event Invites Back Beta Players of The Elder Scrolls Online
If you were a beta participant for The Elder Scrolls Online but skipped out on the full game, ZeniMax Online wants you to return to Tamriel next weekend.
According to an email sent out by the publisher, a ‘Welcome Back Weekend’ event is being planned to kick off on April 17 at 10:00 AM EDT and which will run through until the same time on Monday, April 20.
“We’re excited to share this experience with you, and we look forward to your feedback after you have played,” reads the email. “There have been many advances to the game since launch, improved leveling, intro areas, combat, quests, crafting, crime systems, and much more. Don’t miss this opportunity to check out everything new.”
The event is going to be free for all beta participants and seeing that it’s scheduled for next weekend, there’s plenty of time for them to go ahead and install the full game.
The ‘Welcome Back Weekend’ will be open for players on both the North American and European realms.
If you missed out on the game’s latest update, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is now subscription free. Instead it now adopts a free-to-play model with different categories of premium memberships, and of course an in-game store for microtransactions.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June.
