Red Faction: Guerrilla Steam Version Gets New Maps

By   /   2 years ago

Back in 2014, Red Faction: Guerilla left Games for Windows Live is favor of Steamworks. The community enjoyed a range of fixes and improvements during the transition; a welcome transition, I think.

Now, developer Nordic Games is offering some fresh maps to the Steam community; three new maps to be exact.
According a post on Steam by Nordic Games:

“As promised we just pushed an update that adds the maps Stratosphere, Invasion and Nordic Bonus to the Wrecking Crew mode.”

Red Faction: Guerrilla is arguably the best entry in the series and fans would love to see more of it. Since its release back in 2009 (if I’m correct), things have been very hush-hush regarding a new game. Nothing concrete has been said, but I think it’s time for a new entry in this long running series.

Currently, Nordic is busy with Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition that will release for PlayStation 4 sometime later this year. Hopefully, when they are done with this, we’ll hear something about a new Red Faction.

Would you like to see another Red Faction game; let us know of your opinion in the Comments Section below.
