Advanced Supply Drops are already available on Xbox One, so PS4 owners are a bit late to the party but still, better late then never.
In Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, you get random supply drops based on your performance during a match. You often get weapons, attachments, gear etc.
Now, when it comes to Advanced Supply Drops, you can’t earn them during a match because they are purchasable. These supply drops will contain three loot items to help you bolster your armor and customize your operator. Among those three items, there will be at least one weapon and one item of professional or higher rarity.
Each item in Advanced Supply Drops can be redeemed for XP.
These items will be completely random meaning you will have no control over which items are included. So, it is possible that some items may already be in your armory, it is also possible that you may not be able to use them due to rank.
Now let’s talk about the price, one supply drop with three loot items will cost you $1.99. Meanwhile, a bundle to three supply drops, with nine items, will set you back $5.99.
Five supply drops with an additional bonus supply drop is priced at $9.99 (18 items in total). If you feel like spending more, you can get a bundle of 10 (with three bonus drops) for $19.99 or a bundle of 20 drops (with eight bonus drops) for $39.99.
These drops may affect the balance of the game as those of you who pay more will get more items, which as a result will give them a slight edge in combat.
