Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s Free April DLC is Live

By   /   Apr 3, 2015

April’s free DLC pack has been released by Capcom for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and it contains a Sonic, the Hedgehog Palico skin.

Downloading the free DLC is very simple. Just start your 3DS and head over to the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s DLC menu to get the content. That list includes 14 new quests, 2 new weapons, 3 complete armor sets, 4 Palico weapons, 7 Palico armor sets, 1 bonus Palico: Blue Pal, 4 Guild Card backgrounds, 2 Guild Card poses, 13 Guild Card titles, and 1 Poogie outfit: Vagaboar.

If you plan on downloading the DLC then you have to do it now. The servers are set to go down for “essential maintenance” from 22:00 on Saturday, April 4 to 10:00 Sunday, April 5 (BST). If you fail to get the DLC right now, you’ll have to wait until the maintenance is over to get your hands on it.

For those of you who haven’t gotten the March DLC, it’s still available as well. Last month’s free pack brought forth a lot of content, featuring all-new quests at various levels that unlock new equipment and outfits. There’s also a special collaboration that sees to players getting Link’s (Legend of Zelda) armor, sword, shield and bow.

It’s great to see Capcom continue to support the game with these monthly free DLC add-on packs. We all know about a major publisher out there that would be punching down walls in an effort to try and forget seeing another company give away DLC packs for free.
