Hearthstone: Blackrock Mountain Has Been Released

By   /   2 years ago

Hearthstone: Blackrock Mountain, the latest expansion pack to Blizzard’s popular card game is now available for play.

The expansion features a total of five wings, the first of which is now open and can be purchased for $6.99/€5.99/£4.99. Blizzard will be opening a new wing each week, and pre-purchasing the entire expansion pack for $24.99/€21.99/£17.49 will save you a few bucks.

As is the custom with the free-to-play game. Players are also able to purchase the expansion pack using in-game currency. You’ll require 700 coins to unlock each wing, which is a pretty hectic job collecting. It perhaps would have been better if it was 700 coins for the entire expansion pack.

Each week, players will be facing off new heroic bosses, class challenges, and of course the chance to collect a variety of new cards as reward for completion. Hearthstone: Blackrock Mountain is going to introduce thirty-one new cards for players to collect, most of which are aimed at breaking the current meta.

The new expansion pack is focused on bringing more synergy with dragons and a new gameplay element that will affect cards in your hand in a major way.
