With Assassin’s Creed Chronicles, the franchise is going 2D and will give the vibe of some old school Prince of Persia titles.

Over the years, fans have been asking for an installment set in Asia, specifically China or Japan. So far that hasn’t happened. However, with Chronicles we can at least get a taste of what it would have been like if the concept was implemented in a mainstream AC game.
