New Updates for Pokemon X/Y and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire Go Live
Brand New Update for Pokemon X,Y and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire has gone live. You can download the update for each game individually from the Nintendo eShop right now.
The update will bring Pokemon X and Pokemon Y to version 1.4. Meanwhile Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire will be up to version 1.3 after the update is installed.
There are no official patch notes but apparently it fixes a number of exploits including users being able to create or modify their Pokemon.
It is also a mandatory patch, so before using any online features, battles, Wi-Fi etc this patch must be downloaded.
Also, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will see network maintenance today. Servers for the game will be down for unspecified tweaks for an hour or so from 01:50 – 03:00 am.
Just a couple of days ago, Nintendo released a new strategy guide for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The guide was released via the official Pokemon website. The guide named “Official Hoenn Region Strategy Guide,” can prove to be a great asset for players of the game.
Among its features, players will find walkthroughs for gum battles and other helpful tips. If you are an iOS user, then you can also download the guide from iTunes for $9.99. Here is the complete list of features from the guide:

Avid Pokemon fans will be happy to know that some events have also been announced. On April 13, there will be a Charizard Event held in France. Next-up there will a “Enter the Dragon-Type Competition” in which players can earn the Amaura Prize.
According to details, players can earn 10 Amaura [moves of Growl, Powder Snow, Rock Throw and Magnet Rise] along with Snow Warning Hidden Ability.
If you are good enough, you can compete in the NicoNico ChampionShip 2015 which is being held starting April 10 to April 13. You can register yourself between April 2-10.
