Mario Kart 8 Getting Faster 200cc Level, Animal Crossing DLC

By   /   2 years ago

Great news for the fans of Mario Kart 8; firstly, if you thought that it would be nice if the game was a little tougher, your wish has been granted. A new difficulty level of 200cc has been announced at the recently held Nintendo Direct conference of April.

The new mode was not only announced couple of hours ago, a new trailer was also featured to show off what the game will look like at a much faster pace.

Interestingly, the trailer starts with a history of the series all the way from 1992’s Super Mario Kart to Mario Kart 8.

Similarly it walks you through the 50cc, 100cc and 150cc classes before introducing you to the above and beyond i.e. 200cc class.

At the end of the trailer Nintendo revealed that the new level will be made available for free on April 23.

They have another present for you! The Mario Kart 8 Animal Crossing DLC which was originally scheduled for a May release has been brought closer. Now, the DLC will be released alongside the 200cc class on April 23 though it will cost you $7.99.

A trailer for the Animal Crossing DLC was also shared by Nintendo which you can watch here.
