The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Uses UE4 for PlayStation 4!

It has been a while since The Vanishing of Ethan Carter made its way to PC, but the PlayStation 4 version of the game is still in the making and the millions of users who have bought the console are just waiting for games like these to make them feel good about the money they have spent.

The Astronauts – developers of the game – have also made it clear that after the PC version, it is just the PlayStation 4 iteration of the game that you should look forward to for a long time.

This brings me to the question of the game’s release schedule but sadly, the developers don’t want to say much about that so far.

However, they have shared a little tidbit about the game that is reassuring.

The game was originally made in Unreal Engine 3, so someone pitched a question to The Astronauts saying that the game was wonderful, and inquiring whether they had ported it to Unreal Engine 4 for the PlayStation 4 version. The reply was a triple yes!
