StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void is Now Live to Some Beta Testers
StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void is in the making and some beta testers already have early access. The beta features the multiplayer aspect of the game and comes with all of the abilities and units included in the final build.
The beta is only available to select players for now, but more testers will be invited as the beta goes on. If you are interested, you must have a battle.net account and wait for an invitation.
Blizzard is choosing testers based on recent Starcraft II activity and their PC specs. That means players aren’t being chosen at random. Moreover, players who do get chosen for the beta are allowed to stream gameplay on Twitch.
That’s not all, online tournaments can also be held for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void beta, but only if the prize money is less than $10,000.
The beta features Protoss units including Adept, psionic soldier who can replicate himself. However, going into the beta you should keep the following things in mind, as announced on Battle.Net.
- Some things at the start of the beta will feel more rough than usual.
- We will be missing some units, improvements, features, etc.
- The beta will run for a longer period of time than usual.
- We will need your play-testing support, as well as the feedback about your experiences in the beta, in order to really work together on this expansion.
You can know more about the beta on Battle.Net.
