Resident Evil Revelations 2 Online Multiplayer Added by Patch 1.02
The episodic releases of Resident Evil Revelations 2 aka Biohazard Revelations 2 were started back in February but even after the retail version of the game hit the racks, the much awaited online multiplayer mode was no where to be seen.
Thankfully, Capcom has also been noticing that bit which is why they have finally introduced the online multiplayer to the game through a new update titled patch 1.02. The new feature has been added to the Raid mode of the game as Capcom had confirmed a fortnight ago.
However, introduction of online multiplayer was not the only thing that the patch brought forward. It has also rendered ResidentEvil.net events playable and improved the overall stability of the game by fixing some of the more troubling bugs.
Before the online multiplayer feature, the wave based Horde mode could only be played on local co-op. While playing on local co-op with friends was fun in itself, the online co-op adds a whole new experience to the game.
Previously, users had complained about the lower frame rate on the PS4 version of the game as compared to Xbox One; this was, however, fixed to some extent in a later update.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 1 was unleashed on February 24, including which, a total of five episodes have been released so far. You can also get them together in the retail version which came out on March 18.
The game has been developed for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
