According to Bill Clinton, House of Cards is 99 Percent Realistic

Kevin Spacey, House of Cards’ star revealed in an interview in the latest Gotham Magazine issue that ex-president Bill Clinton believes that the show is 99 percent real.

The issue says that ex-president ‘practically serves as a series adviser’ and was a former poker buddy of Spacey. Spacey says, “He tells me, ‘I love that House of Cards’”

So I am guessing USA presidents have a thing for House of Card first President Obama tweets on last season’s eve, “Tomorrow: @HouseOfCards. No spoilers, please” and then Clinton discloses that he loves the show and it is based on truth and truth alone.

“Kevin, 99 percent of what you do on that show is real. The 1 percent you get wrong is you could never get an education bill passed that fast.”-Bill Clinton

Spacey is an introvert when it comes to discussing his personal life, he has never uttered a word and the way it’s going I am guessing he will not in the future either.

“I’ve just never believed in pimping my personal life out for publicity. I’m not interested in doing it. Never will do it,” says the 55-year-old actor.

Spacey says that when he signed up for the show three years back it was all about perfection and quality of the show not the quantity.

“I liked that it was a brave thing to do, I’m not a binge-watcher myself, but I understand the addiction completely.”

House of Cards won three Primetime Emmy Awards and it was nominated 22 times for the Emmy Awards. Spacey himself has won a Golden Globe and SAG.
