Mortal Kombat: New Sub-Zero Statue from Pop Culture Asks for $700
There’s a new Mortal Kombat collectible statue of Sub-Zero in town and it can be yours for the price of $700 that will surely burn a gaping hole in your pocket.
The 1:3 scale statue stands at 28 inches in height and weighs just about 25 pounds. The attention to detail in this sculpture is amazing.
Sub-Zero stands on a frozen wasteland with a ripped bloody spine in one hand and an ice ball in the other. The ice ball is equipped with a LED to warn onlookers that this sculpture means business.
Pop Culture is behind this marvel and will be manufacturing only 350 units, making this an extremely limited edition to any collection. However, the first wave of orders are said to ship on April 5, 2016, while Pop Culture will begin taking pre-orders from April 6, 2015.
Yes, that’s a one year gap and those interested in purchasing one of these will have to wait that long.
As an incentive, pre-ordering now will save you 15 percent of the purchase, bringing the total cost down to $600. That does not include shipping charges.
In related news, Mortal Kombat X – the latest installment in the franchise – is set to launch in a couple of weeks for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game were previously revealed to be pushed back into the summers.
