Halo 5 Guardians Spartan Locke, Master Chief Trailers are Short and Chilling!
Microsoft just took the heat up another notch in Halo 5 Guardians! With the “Hunt The Truth” capmaign already raking in a lot of attention from the fans of the series, two newly released trailers by 343 Industries are going to make things interesting.
The idea behind the two ads is that there are two sides to every story; which is why they show us the perspective of Master Chief as well as Spartan Locke separately.
In the Master Chief trailer (above) for Halo 5 Guardians, he is talking to Spartan Locke who lies wounded at the foot of a statue in the midst of a war torn region – apparently after fight. He says pointing the gun at Locke:
Is this what you wanted? Is this what you were looking for? Was everything you have compromised, everything you have done, worth it? Was it? You have completed your mission Spartan Locke, mine is just begining.
Then there’s the Spartan Locke prespective (below). It is in the same place but the two characters have now switched places. Master Chief lies dying as Locke aims the gun saying:
All hail the conqueror hero, let us remember his as our protector and not the one who gave us this. As our savior and not our bertayer. Let us see him as you (looks up to the statue) and not as you (looks down to Master Chief). Let us see him forever as you and not as you (motioning towards the statue and Master Chief again).
So what do you make of the two story perspectives that are coming our way in Halo 5 Guardians?
