Lords of the Fallen Developer Deck13 Offers Hideo Kojima Head of Game Design Post
Deck13 Interactive, developer behind Lords of the Fallen, has taken to Twitter to offer Hideo Kojima a position at the German-based company.
The legendary Metal Gear series creator is strongly rumored to be parting ways with Konami, after working with the publisher for almost three decades. Both sides are staying silent over the matter, but it has been confirmed that Kojima will remain involved with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, or at least until it is completed.
Perhaps this was a valuable moment seen by Deck13 to recruit an iconic name in the video games industry. The company’s official Twitter account set out a tweet to Kojima earlier today, offering an open position of Head of Game Design.
“We currently have an open position at Deck13 that would perfectly fit Mr. Kojima’s skills, so he will be delighted to hear about the job details. Mr. Kojima can start right away, all the equipment he needs is already in place,” read a press release from Creative Director Jan Klose.
Deck13 is now “eagerly awaiting Mr. Kojima’s final decision and will in the meantime hold all talks with current candidates.”
Do we dare imagine a Lords of the Fallen 2 under the guidance of Hideo Kojima? In the meanwhile, Konami has announced that it has no plans to end the Metal Gear series and is already recruiting members for a new title in the franchise.
