By   /   Mar 26, 2015

Well, it has been a long time coming and now we have our first evidence. According to a listing on the Australian classification board, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition is a thing.

The news came from a post by an unofficial AusVGClaasifications twitter account. Upon visiting the official website, it was clear that the tweet was indeed correct.

Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition was rated on March 25th, while Monolith as developer and Warner Bros. is listed as the game’s publisher. Moreover, the title has received an MA 15+ rating by the board.

The official confirmation hasn’t come so far from Monolith or WB, but news can be expected soon.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor came out last year on all major platforms. The title is arguably among the best games to come out in 2014. With plenty of awards under its belt, Shadow of Mordor could soon hit the market once again with GOTY iteration.

Those who haven’t yet played this epic title, should probably give it a try and experience Talion’s journey of revenge and redemption.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year is listed as a multiplatform title, so expect it to be announced for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
