Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World Release Dates Leaked

By   /   Mar 24, 2015

A release schedule was posted today on Nintendo of Europe’s website which informs us of the release dates of both Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World.

Seeing how the list was removed soon after, it’s possible that the posting is legitimate and was posted as an accident ahead of time.

According to the said listing, the upcoming third-person shooter Splatoon will release on May 29 in Europe, while side-scrolling platormer Yoshi’s Woolly World will arrive on June 26.

Splatoon - Release Leaked

Additionally, the listing mentioned that Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush and the Puzzle and Dragons Dual Pack are coming on May 8, and Code Name: S.T.E.A.M is set for release on May 15.

Splatoon was previously confirmed to launch in May, and hence this news gives credence to that release time-frame. The game was revealed at E3 2014 and carries an interesting concept.

The four-vs-four online shooter has players shooting with “ink-guns” and after which can swim through the paint in order to travel around and dodge attacks. The color of inks are vital in this regard. You cannot jump into the enemy’s choice of colors.
