Destiny Weekly Heroic Strikes and NightFall Detailed: All Guardians to the Moon!

By   /   Mar 24, 2015

Attention all Guardians! Bungie has shared new details about this week’s Nightfall/Heroic strike. This week’s strike is Level 24 and Nightfall is Level 30, so those on a lower level will have to boost their position in Destiny.

Players are heading to Earth’s Moon to visit Ocean of Storms. Nightfall will feature Modifiers Arc Burn, Epic, Angry and Lightswitch. On the other hand Heroic Strike will have Heroic and Arc Burn Modifiers enabled.

Both NightFall and Lightswitch take place in the Summoning Pits.

While facing Ogre, players should bring along their Icebreaker and rocket launcher and pick him off from entrance room. During Nightfall, a maximum of three players can participate for a Very Hard difficulty challenge.

In related news, Bungie has taken steps to stop a user from predicting XUR’s stock before his arrival. A reddit user named Megamanexe4 was data mining Destiny to let players know what XUR will feature in his inventory and where he will be.

If I recall correctly, wasn’t XUR’s location and items were suppose to be random and not even Bungie was supposed to know what they are?

While Megamanexe4 data mining the game didn’t hurt anyone, it did mean that fewer players will log-in to Destiny on weekends to see what items XUR has brought.

However, Bungie has made some changes to their system, so whatever Megamanexe4 was doing won’t work anymore. You can read more about it in a post on Reddit.

Destiny was released last year and is available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
