Bloodborne Servers To Be Down Every Wednesday For Maintenance
From Software’s Bloodborne is available today in North America and servers for the game are now online. Those who logged-in came across a notable piece of information in the game. According to an in-game prompt, Bloodborne’s servers will be down every Wednesday.
This is due to a three hour maintenance to make sure any and all issues are sorted out as they come. Considering what happened with DriveClub, I think it’s best to take extra precautions with Bloodborne. Millions of users may try to log-in which can potentially cause issues.
Some reports suggest that users who own a physical copy were the first ones to access servers, but digital copies were given access a few hours later.
Like many games these days Bloodborne comes with a day-one patch. Thankfully, you won’t have to wait long for it to download as it only packs 2.7GB of data.
Patch 1.1 is necessary if you wish to play the much talked about Chelic Dungeon. This update will also enable online modes and will improve overall performance of the title.
Lastly, through this patch you’ll be given the option to display your name during online sessions.
Bloodborne is still a day-away from being released in Europe and if its reception in NA is any indication, Bloodborne is going to be an all around success. This will surely help Sony wash-away the disappointment of The Order 1886.
Have you played Bloodborne yet? What do you think of the game so far? Let us know in the comments .
