Diablo 3 Season 3 Kicks-Off on April 10, Patch 2.2 Coming Soon
Diablo 3 Season 3 has a starting date of April 10 according to developer Blizzard. This means that season 2 is coming to a close and as announced, players should wrap things up before April 5th.
Here’s the closing schedule of season 2 in North America, Europe and Asia:
- North America: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. PDT
- Europe: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. CEST
- Asia: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. KST
As for season 3, here’s the official details:
- North America: Friday, April 10 @ 6:00 p.m. PDT
- Europe: Friday, April 10 @ 6:00 p.m. CEST
- Asia: Friday, April 10 @ 6:00 p.m. KST
At the end of Season 2, your season characters will become part of the normal pool. All the Blood shards and other items will be saved, so no worries there, all the loot will also be sent for your characters which you can claim within 30-days.
As for your character’s Paragon XP:
If your Seasonal heroes reached Paragon 300, but your current non-Seasonal heroes are already Paragon 400, your new non-Seasonal Paragon level will still be less than Paragon 700 since higher Paragon levels take more experience to earn.

Lastly, Diablo 3 patch 2.2 is expected to roll-out soon and is currently available in the PTR. Some balancing issues are dealt with in Class kills and some new legendaries are added as well. You can see the changelog for patch 2.2 here.
