Batman Arkham Knight Delayed, Gameplay Video Shared

By   /   Mar 23, 2015

Okay so the first part is not something you be glad to hear; the developers have delayed Batman Arkham Knight for the second time!

The official Twitter profile of the game just tweeted that “We are pleased to announce our new release date – Batman: Arkham Knight will officially launch worldwide on 06.23.15.”

Nonetheless, it is not a major change, only three weeks so I guess when we are over the fact that the game has been delayed twice, it won’t be hard to wait a little longer.

However, Rocksteady Studios are more than willing to give us something that would ease the wait.

They have recently shared an official gameplay trailer which is a good lengthy video showing off some of the elements that you will come across.

It starts with James Gordon and Batman talking about Scarecrow who is going to detonate a chemical weapon in Gotham.

Later on you get a good look at the city and then Batman goes on to rescue a missing police officer. A fight starts and you get a taste of how it will be to take on multiple enemies using the combat system of Batman Arkham Knight.

Things get exiting around the middle of the video when you see the Batmobile in action. Its all pretty exciting and I am sure you are going to want to see it for yourself.

Batman Arkham Knight is being developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, OSX and Linux. While the OSX and Linux versions do not have a specific release date yet, just a third or fourth quarter release window, the rest of the platforms are scheduled to get a worldwide release on June 23, 2015.

Check out the official gameplay trailer above and tell us what you think.
