Ana Lily Amirpour’s The Bad Batch Gets Jim Carrey and Keanu Reeves
Megan Ellison’s upcoming The Bad Batch has an interesting lineup for its cast.
The Bad Batch is a love story about cannibals, which has fortunately gathered actors like Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves, Diego Luna, and Suki Waterhouse along with Jason Momoa.
Commonly we see cannibal movies with either one standing star or several newcomers and almost famous actors. But The Bad Batch has started strong on the talent.
It is not just the cast that is awesome but also the director Ana Lily Amirpour who was appreciated by critiques for her A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (Persian horror). Annapurna Pictures and VICE plans on selling the cannibalistic love story at Cannes International Film Festivals.
The Wrap describes the movie as:
“A post-apocalyptic tale set in a Texas wasteland where a community of cannibals reside, ‘The Bad Batch’ is described as a love story about a cannibal known as Miami Man (Momoa) and his food.”
Megan Ellison will produce the movie along with Sina Sayyah and Danny Gabai from VICE. Eddy Moretti and Shane Smith from VICE are the executive producer alongside Sammy Scher from Annapurna Pictures.
Regardless of being a cannibal movie, this cast and crew is making the whole production interesting. No detail about the release or anything else is disclosed yet but we will keep you updated as soon as we know.
