Bloodborne Day-One Patch Detailed, Brings Performance Improvements

By   /   Mar 21, 2015

Sony has confirmed that there will be a day-one patch waiting for Bloodborne upon release.

The patch, which is going to weigh in at about 3 GB, will update the game to version 1.01 and include online functionality, overall performance and stability improvements, and fixes to various bugs.

Bloodborne is scheduled for release on March 24 in the US and March 27 in the UK for the PlayStation 4. There’s a special Nightmare Edition available for pre-order in Europe for €119.99.

It includes the game itself in a SteelBook case, premium art book with exclusive concept art, digital soundtrack of the game, Bloodborne gothic notebook, Quill & red ink set, “Top Hat” Messenger skin and a Bell trinket.

In Denmark, Sony is giving away a free copy of Bloodborne to blood donators as part of a special campaign.

From Software, with direction from Dark Souls’ team lead Hidetaka Miyazaki, has perhaps created the first title that is going to blow everyone away on the PlayStation 4.
