AMD Catalyst 15.3 Beta Driver is Available Now, Adds Freesync Tech Support
AMD graphics cards just got a driver update. Th company has released new drivers in the form of the AMD Catalyst 15.3 Beta driver.
The news was shared on the official website of the company where they also shared release notes including the things that have been updated or added.
Among the release notes of AMD Catalyst 15.3 Beta Windows Driver, the highlights include Freesync Tech Support for single GPU. The post reads:
AMD Freesync technology support is now available for single GPU configurations. For more information on how Freesync works, FAQ’s and what products are currently supported, please visit the Freesync Technology Page.
Other than this, AMD has confirmed that “AMD Radeon R9 285 now supports Mixed Rotation Eyefinity for 0 and 90 degrees rotations.”
Similarly, there are nemrous games that have either received updates or gotten new cross profiles. The games for which new cross profiles have been added are Battlefield Hardline, Evolve, Far Cry 4, Lords of the Fallen, Project Cars and Total War: Attila.
On the other hand, many games have received cross profile updates namely Alien Isolation, Assassin’s Creed Unity
Civilization – Beyond Earth, FIFA 2015, Grid Autosport, Ryse: Son of Rome, Talos Principle and The Crew.
As far as the Dying Light fans are concerned, you will have to wait a little bit because the developers have confirmed “AMD CrossFire profile for Dying Light is currently disabled in this driver while AMD works with Techland to investigate an issue where AMD CrossFire configurations are not performing as intended.”
