Blood Bowl 2: First Gameplay Footage Pits Humans Against Orcs

By   /   Mar 19, 2015

Developer Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive have released the first gameplay footage of Blood Bowl 2, which pits humans against Orcs.

Announced last year, Blood Bowl 2 is a fantasy football game with two teams of humans and orcs taking on each other on the field. There’s violence, mayhem, a lot of agony to be witnessed, and it all shows in the video released.

The game is a sequel to the 2009 original and is going to feature a new graphics engine, along with extra additions. From the footage, the game’s new engine does look to be impressive. Not to mention the interface is incredibly clean, and the cheering crowd makes me want to dive into the game already.

The video also showcases some of the players through cards, on which you can spot their skill sets.

Blood Bowl 2 so far is looking to be doing good in the ‘fun’ department and also simpler compared to its predecessor. It is slated for a release in spring for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

It will come with eight races, which will be more detailed and balanced to take into account races that will be added at some point in the future.
