Who doesn’t want to start dying a day earlier than schedule, right? Well okay, that might not stand true for the real life but when it comes to gaming, one might just say yes to it.

Above all, if you are talking about a Dark Souls game, “dying” isn’t really what it means even in tons of other games; you do it like a chore in this one, and Bandai Namco is going to let you start early if you reside within the European Union.

The publisher has confirmed that the release date of Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin has been moved to an earlier date.

Previously, it was slated for a release on April 7, 2015 for all the regions except Japan; now they have announced that EU will get it on April 2, 2015.

As far as the contents of Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin are concerned, it is going to bring the original game as well as all the DLC that has been released to date.

In terms of gameplay, it will change the enemy placements, number of players allowed in one session and also improve performance.

In case you have missed out, here’s a video featuring some gameplay footage as well as the Forlorn Invader, and here’s another gameplay video that was released before.

Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin was released to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 5. It will now be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, in European Union on April 2, in North America on April 7 and finally in Japan on April 9.
