Throughout your journey around Orience, you will come across plenty of chocobos.
Aside from these ordinary chocobos, you can create more powerful, more agile, and more supreme versions of chocobos by breeding them – breeding requires both male and female chocobos.
Do note that each chocobo comes with unique strengths and weaknesses. You will find yourself relying on more than one chocobo to complete various RTS missions.
Therefore, it’s a good idea to have a range of chocobos at your disposal.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Chocobo Breeding

How to Breed Chocobos
Chocobo
Location/Breed: Chocobo + Chocobo
This chocobo can be found all across the world and does not require any green.
War Chocobo
Location/Breed: Chocobo + Chocobo
This is a tough chocobo which is extremely hard to take down and requires Gysahl Greens.
Combat Chocobo
Location/Breed: War Chocobo + Chocobo or War Chocobo + War Chocobo
This chocobo contains pretty decent defensive abilities and requires Gysahl Greens for both pairings.
Assault Chocobo
Location/Breed: Combat Chocobo + Combat Chocobo
This chocobo contains pretty decent offensive abilities and requires Gysahl Greens.
Swiftwind Chocobo
Location/Breed: Combat Chocobo + Combat Chocobo
This chocobo packs extremely devastating offensive abilities and requires Mimett Greens.
Fleetfoot Chocobo
Location/Breed: Found in the Jubanla Region
On the positive side, this chocobo is extremely fast but on the negative side, it can be defeated without much difficulty.
Turbo Chocobo
Location/Breed: Chocobo + Fleetfoot Chocobo or Fleetfoot Chocobo + Fleetfoot Chocobo
Similar to Fleetfoot, this chocobo is extremely fast but can be easily defeated and requires Pahsana Greens for both pairings.
Sonic Chocobo
Location/Breed: Turbo Chocobo + Turbo Chocobo
Sonice chocobo is a really agile and sturdy chocobo and requires Gysahl Greens.
Supersonic Chocobo
Location/Breed: Sonic Chocobo + Sonic Chocobo
Like the name suggests, Supersonic Chocobo is an extremely fast chocobo and requires Mimett Greens.
Sidestepping Chocobo
Location/Breed: Supersonic Chocobo + Supersonic Chocobo
Once again, like the name suggests, this chocobo is weak but can easily evade attacks and requires Mimett Greens. You can also find it in the Berith Desert
Evasive Chocobo
Location/Breed: Found in the Innsmouth Region
This is another weak chocobo which can dodge almost all types of attacks.
Sneaky Chocobo
Location/Breed: Evasive Chocobo + Evasive Chocobo or Evasive Chocobo + Combat Chocobo
This is another weak chocobo which can evade most of the attacks and requires Mimett Greens for both pairings.
Stealth Chocobo
Location/Breed: Evasive Chocobo + Evasive Chocobo or Sneaky Chocobo + Sneaky Chocobo
This chocobo packs a punch with devastating damage output and can easily dodge attacks. You will need Reagan Greens for the first pairing and Mimett Greens for the second one.
Knight Chocobo
Location/Breed: Supersonic Chocobo + Swiftwind Chocobo or Swiftwind Chocobo + Swiftwind Chocobo
Knight Chocobo packs a high damage output, agility, and can easily dodge enemy attacks. You will need Reagan Greens for the first pairing and Sylkis Greens for the second one.
Ninja Chocobo
Location/Breed: Stealth Chocobo + Stealth Chocobo or Stealth Chocobo + Swiftwind Chocobo
Similar to Knight Chocobo, this one also contains a high damage output and is extremely agile. You will need Sylkis Greens for both pairings.
Master Chocobo
Location/Breed: Ninja Chocobo + Ninja Chocobo or Knight Chocobo + Ninja Chocobo
Like the name clearly suggests, this chocobo packs some of the most amazing abilities among chocobos and requires Sylkis Greens for both pairings.
Different Types of Greens and Effects
Gysahl Greens
These vegetables increase the chances of a different type of chocobo.
Krakka Greens
These vegetables also increase the chances of a different type of chocobo.
Tantal Greens
These vegetables make a chocobo take care of its father.
Pahsana Greens
These vegetables make a chocobo take care of its mother.
Curiel Greens
These vegetables drastically increases the number of chocobos hatched.
Mimett Greens
These vegetables increase your chances of hatching a good chocobo.
Reagan Greens
These vegetables also increase your chances of hatching a good chocobo.
Sylkis Greens
These vegetables increase your chances of hatching a good chocobo to a maximum level.
Gyzahl Greens
With these vegetables, you will have chances of hatching a whole flock of chocobos.
