Dominic Purcell Joins Flash/Arrow Crossover

By   /   Mar 17, 2015

Dominic Purcell will be onboard for the Flash-Arrow spinoff as Heat wave alongside Captain Cold.

Purcell, from Prison break, will reappear as Mick Rory an arsonist who discovers his obsession with fire and joins Wentworth Miller, Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold. You heard that right, the prison break duo returns once again on big screen as an extension to the Flash reunion.

This upcoming project is set for a 2015-16 mid-season premiere. Purcell joins the Flash/Arrow crossover cast alongside Wentworth Miller, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz and Flash’s Victor Garber.

Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg are the creators for the super heroes show along with executive producer Marc Guggenheim. Sarah Schechter is the executive producer for Warner Bros. TV.

Routh reprises his Arrow’s character Ray Palmer called The Atom and Dr. Martin Stein from Flash played by Garber.
Producer Guggenheim told TvLine about Miller’s character that Leonard Snart/Captain Cold adds that certain pun to the show.
His character is what helps most shows in most crucial times.

“The fly in the ointment… [a] villain among heroes. But that is what makes it fun. We really wanted an x-factor as part of the show.”

Recently released trailers for Arrow and Flash, feature upcoming episodes with Captain Cold, Heat Wave and Atom playing major stunts in it.
