The Next Segment Ep.7 – Dick Decay, TitanFall-ier, Hardlined Couch
This week’s video for The Next Segment is a bit more light-hearted. It feels sort of refreshing to head into a game week that isn’t filled with sadness and drama for once.
One of those fluffy anecdotes comes courtesy of zombie survival game, State of Decay. A contractor for the developer managed to conceal an undisclosed amount of penis drawings all over the game’s textures.
Publisher Microsoft doesn’t want any of the juvenile drawings and as such, the artful expressions won’t be sticking around for when State of Decay comes to Xbox One.
It’s official: There will be another Titanfall and Playstation fans will likely see the thing on their platform as well. In addition, the current iteration of the multiplayer shooter has made all its downloadable content (DLC) free forever, so download it and get back to blasting giant robots.
This year’s awards at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, or BAFTAs, have crowned Destiny as its Game of the Year laureate. Skate game OlliOlli also managed to snag best sports over alternatives like FIFA or Mario Kart. Those are both bold choices.
We also highlight Bloodborne for a second in The Next Segment. The successor to the Souls series could be over 40 hours long, so plenty of time to get annoyed with dying a million times.
In more breezy trivia, Battlefield Hardline has a drivable couch hidden in the game. It’s possible to find this marvelous creation in the Dustbowl map while in Hotwire mode.
If every week could be this cheery and light, we’d definitely sign up for that. Let us know what big things caught your attention this week and stay tuned for more on The Next Segment.
