Resident Evil Revelations 2 Raid Mode Co-Op Coming on March 31
Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will get online co-op in raid mode on March 31st. According to the developer, raid will co-op will go live across all platforms on this date, via a new update.
By the time this updates rolls-out, all four episodes of the game are going to be available. Capcom said it before the release of Episode 1, that raid mode co-op won’t be a part of the game until all episodes are released.
So, Capcom is here to fulfill the promise. Raid mode is an action packed side activity for Resident Evil Revelations 2. Players will join forces to take on hordes of zombies and is pretty similar to the one we saw in Revelations 1.
Those following the release of Revelations 2, will know what happened with its launch on PC. Capcom invited unnecessary backlash by first not including co-op in the PC version, and then listing Revelations 2 as a co-op game on Steam.
Later they had to include offline co-op on PC, so why not add this major feature from the beginning? They did offer an explanation as to why it wasn’t there, but it didn’t really prove to be satisfactory for all. Read more on that here.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 is only available digitally for now, but starting March 17th, the whole season will be available on disc as well. As a reminder, March 17 is also the release date of Episode four.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
