GTA V PC vs PS4 vs PS3 Graphics Comparison, PC Trumps All
Just recently, Rockstar released some screenshots from the awaited PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. The game looked amazing but how much difference can we notice when compared to PS4/PS3 versions of GTA V?
The video you see above, was posted by a YouTube user UHD Gaming and shows you a brief comparison between the three versions. PC, with its 4K support, looks far better than PS4 and PS3 iterations.
The lighting, textures, character models; everything about the PC version of GTA V makes it far more superior. The only thing that bothers me is that PS3 screenshots seem to be taken from a really low quality source. In reality, PS3 version doesn’t look like an impressionist painting.
On the other hands, to get the best out for your time with GTA V, you’ll need a 4K display and the following PC specs.
- OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1
- Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHz (8 CPUs)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD 7870 2GB
- Hard Drive: 65 GB available space
- Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible
You can read about the minimum system requirement over at Rockstar Games. In less than a month’s time, GTA V is coming to PC on April 14. Hopefully, Rockstar won’t keep fans waiting any longer.
