Star Wars: Battlefront Could Appear at Star Wars Celebration Next Month

The official Star Wars Celebration is ready to take place in Anaheim Convention Center, California this year between April 16-19. Publisher EA is now officially listed to attend the show, making way for speculation that we’ll get to see some sort of reveal for Star Wars: Battlefront.

So far we’ve yet to see any gameplay footage for one of the most anticipated games of the year. The rebooted Star Wars shooter is on the radar of every fan, and what better place to reveal details than a Star Wars convention?

I believe it’s still too soon to get a major reveal of the game. Earlier this year, the game’s design director Niklas Fegraeus expressed excitement over the development, saying that the team can’t wait to show its progress this spring.

The Star Wars Celebration could be the event for that. EA could make our jaws drop with a cinematic sequence for the game, or surprise us further by unveiling the starting bits of the game.

In either case, we’ll have to wait out another month.

Star Wars: Battlefront is confirmed to feature around five DLC packs, two-three of which will be based exclusively on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In addition to this, some of the vehicles scheduled to make an appearance in the movie will also appear in the game.
