A new video posted online by Reddit user TehPoisonOne shows the various features included in the upcoming PlayStation 4 firmware update 2.50.

The eight-minute long video covers the beta version of the update, which is currently in testing by PlayStation MVPs. The user displays the new PlayStation Now application, storage backup, zoom capabilities, color inversion, bold text, button remapping, Share Play video quality, trophy screenshots, and more.

The main highlight of the upcoming update is the addition of Suspend/Resume functionality, which will be supported by all PlayStation 4 titles and allow you to immediately jump into game by hitting the PS button, after resuming the console from Rest Mode.

This feature has been teased by Sony since the console’s launch, but it has taken it this long to actually implement it.

Sony will also be adding DailyMotion support for the Share button, and the ability to share at 60 frames-per-second. Users with a sub-account will now be able to upgrade to a master account directly from their PS4 when they turn 18, removing restrictions for chat, enabling users to fund their own wallet, make purchases and more.

Users will also be able to search for and connect with Facebook friends who are current PlayStation Network members.
