Ending Cinematic of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Hints Type-1 Sequel

By   /   Mar 15, 2015

A special cinematic teaser from the end of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has appeared online, which suggests a Final Fantasy Type-1 sequel.

Director Hajime Tabata has already expressed his wishes for a sequel to the game once he’s done with Final Fantasy XV. From the looks of the ending cinematic to Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, that wish might get realized.

Note that the ending does not specifically mention the name Final Fantasy Type-1, and games sometimes do end on promising notes to hint possible installments.

However, taking Tabata’s comments into consideration, that installment could very well happen to continue the story that begun in Type-0.

In other news, the install size of the Xbox One version of Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae has been confirmed from Xbox Game Store to be at 6.29 GB. Although there is no confirmation about the PlayStation 4 install size, we are hoping it to be somewhere close to the Xbox One version.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is being developed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be released in North America on March 17, in Japan on March 19, and finally in the European Union on March 20.
