Batman: Arkham Knight’s First TV Commercial Appears Online

By   /   Mar 13, 2015

Batman: Arkham Knight has gotten its first major TV appearance this week, creating hype for one of this year’s most anticipated releases, all the way up to its launch in June.

The trailer is just thirty seconds long and features Bruce preparing to take the Batmobile out for a nightly spin to tackle some of Gotham’s roughest crowds.

The short montage has been put together from videos released last year by Rocksteady Studios. This teaser though only shows a couple of villains from the game, whereas we know there are many others as well.

Batman: Arkham Knight is the third game in the Arkham series from Rocksteady, following the first Arkham Asylum and then Arkham City. The recent Arkham Origins was developed by Warner Bros. Montreal, and while many did not show much excitement over a non-Rocksteady Batman title, I found it to be pretty good.

Batman: Arkham Knight was supposed to launch in fall last year but was then delayed to June 2015 by its publisher. Batman: Arkham Knight is due for release on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game was recently rated M by the ESRB, much to the surprise of developer Rocksteady Studios.
