Free Mazda MX-5 Car Pack Announced For Forza Horizon 2

By   /   Mar 12, 2015

Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have announced a new Mazda MX-5 Car Pack for Forza Horizon 2 that will release next week.

The free DLC will introduce four different versions of the MX-5 from across its 25-year history:

  • 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata
  • 2005 Mazda Mazdaspeed MX-5
  • 2010 Mazda MX-5 Super20 concept car
  • 2016 Mazda MX-5

The Mazda MX-5 Car Pack will be available to download from next Tuesday, March 17 on the Xbox One. A release date for the Xbox 360 players has not been announced so far. It may be because the Xbox 360 edition of the game is not supported with new content.

Microsoft is also planning to launch a new Rivals contest in the game on the Xbox One on the same March 17 date. The contest will challenge players to complete a race in as fast a time as possible.

Achieving that will allow you to proceed to the next stage of the tournament, with the winner taking home a new Mazda MX-5, which has an estimated retail value of $30,000.

The contest will end on April 30. For more details on the rules, you can head here.

The Mazda MX-5 Car Pack releases one week ahead of Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, a free standalone expansion themed around the hit movie series that introduces a variety of new cars and missions.
